The Creating Success Conference

Where mindset meets the processes to make breakthroughs!

Stop what you’re doing. I want you to take a trip down the rabbit hole with me. What would the world be like for your child if nothing was impossible? Think about that for a moment and remember the words of Audrey Hepburn,

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!”

What if what’s getting in the way isn’t time, it isn’t money… it’s you. Now, that statement is meant to be somewhat inflammatory, but don’t be offended. Remember, we’re going down a rabbit hole and before the end of this message, I’ll show you what I mean.

Hi, I’m Barbara Erby-Young! President and Founder of Breakthrough Developmental Services and BDSHelps.com where we believe everyone can learn grow and live a more independent life. We love to help people with developmental, intellectual, and learning differences reach these goals.

People that know me will tell you that I’m a no-nonsense, “shoot from the hip” kind of person. I tend to be a straight forward and a no excuses approach to life. I’m the person who will figure a way to get it done. I’m also a creative, innovative person who believes in my clients and their families… sometimes, when others don’t.

So, here’s my question for you:

What if it was possible for your child to do things like hold a job; drive a car; have friends; or learn in class with less support, or fully without support?

Here’s the thing, I know that not all of us have the aptitude for everything… Seriously… there are many subjects that are beyond my current capabilities of learning. I say “current capabilities” because I know that if I took the time to study about a subject matter (or someone took the time with me), I might be able to learn it.

Here’s a big secret: So can your child!

I don’t have some magic wand, but to do know tips, techniques, and processes that can help you and your child get on this path.

Spend some time with us to find out what I mean. Join us from 9 am to 4 pm on April 18th for The Creating Success Conference. During our time together, we’ll explore mindset, goal setting, and processes to get your child on the path to success.

During this 1-day event you’ll discover how what you think may be getting in the way of your child moving forward and discover ways to get out of the way. You will also learn how your child’s diagnosis is helpful, but not the end all in their world. Learn the processes we go through to get our clients moving in the right direction. You can do them with your child too… If you do this over and over again, you may be able keep your child (and yourself) motivated and see more progress, faster.

Being able to properly run and track programs is as important as knowing what programs to run. All of these play key roles in success. However, before any of this, you need to organize everything. Learn how to organize so your program can run, and be taught, effectively.

What’s the most important thing to you and your family? Your child and your child’s future. So, we are going to specifically spend time working on your goals and objectives. This will help all of your meetings (Family Consultations, Team Meetings, IEPs, etc.) go faster and run smoother. It should also help save you some money in the long run.

Now if you haven’t already clicked to button to attend, you’re probably sitting there thinking “Why?” Why is she doing this? Why is she effectively putting herself out of a job? Because I’m not.

You see, your insurance company will pay for what is medically necessary. They won’t pay for the other things you want your child to learn. So if I put an academic skill on your treatment plan, they won’t pay for it. They will pay me to assist with behavioral interventions, activities for daily living, and social skills. Academics is a school domain and things that are academically related are left to the school. I know that parents also need help at home. There are things that your child’s teachers and I can’t do on a daily basis. That’s why we’ve developed this workshop to help you.

A wise man once said, “Things that are important to you will show up in two places, your calendar and your checkbook.” Typically for this amount of information and time, I would charge $2,700. But here’s the thing, my goal is to educate as many people as possible about these subjects. So the cost of attending the conference, 9 am to 4 pm, is just $300.

To help out even more, we are doing a single pay option and an easy pay option.

1 payment of $300

OR

Use the Easy Pay Option, 2 payments of $175

Because the room size is limited, seating for the conference is limited. We will not be increasing the size of the room because I want to make sure everyone is able to ask their questions and get the attention they need to learn about these subjects.

Because I know that if you learn it, you’ll be able to implement it, and it works only when you are able to implement it.

I don’t know when we’ll be doing this one again. So, you have a decision to make… Join us on April 18th, or don’t. It’s totally up to you.

Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day!
